FREESKI VIDEO COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCED!
The Saas-Fee Ride – Freeski Video Competition was set up to ultimately give the athletes the chance to show their skiing talent and express their own personal style of riding in the amazing snow conditions of the Allalin Glacier in Saas-Fee this summer.  Over a period of one month, teams set out to create a short film of between 1-3 minutes to be uploaded to YouTube.

WINNER
Riding: Mathieu Hulliger / Film: Kevin Hauser

2ND PLACE
Riding: Jason Hamborg / Film: Samuel Christen & Jason Hamborg

3RD PLACE
Riding: Chris McCormick, Tyler Harding / Film: Dave Young

The overall winner was clear with the artistically shot film of rider Mathieu Hulliger filmed by Kevin Hauser.  Runner up in 2nd Place was Canadian Jason Hamborg who unfortunately had to go home early due to injury, but still managed to produce an excellent film.  In 3rd Place was Dave Young’s film of Tyler Harding and Chris McCormick.  Tyler Harding also took 1st Place for best trick with his Misty 7 off the Canon Rail.  The event was judged by Paddy Graham, Andy Bennett and Pat Sharples.
 
Many thanks to the resort of Saas-Fee for backing the Saas-Fee Ride Freeski Video Competition and huge thanks to the guys in the Snowpark for their enthusiasm and support.  You can see the effort and energy that goes into making the park look as good as it does in Saas-Fee by watching Kobi Wursch's video edit (click here), the Snow Park shaper and a big energy behind the event.  Thanks Kobi from all of us at Ride Freesport.
