The rail jam is a way for the riders to really show off their skills on the rails and boxes in the snowpark.

The riders are allowed as many runs as they like within a set time limit. This reduces the pressure of trying
to perform a perfect run enabling the riders to push their limits and experiment with new moves they wouldn't normally try in a regular competition.

The rail jam lets riders get really technical with their moves. Look out for tricks such as the K-Fed, Pretzel,
Lip slide and nose press. The riders will often mix these tricks with rotations like the 270, 450 and even 630.

The rider who impresses the judges the most over the set time wins the competition.
